NITRO+ RX 580 8GB GDDR5
All-NEW DUAL-X COOLER
The Dual-X cooler featured in the latest SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX 500 Series cards is an all-new design. Dual-X Cooling is powered by two massive yet silent fans and state-of-the-art radiator design. The new form of our 95mm blades mean grater airflow and superior heatsink coverage at lower noise compared to standard cooling designs. These feature dual ball bearing fans, which have an 85% longer lifespan than sleeve bearings in our tests.
Intelligent Fan Control III
ZERO DB COOLING
Enjoy complete silence under light workloads with entirely passive cooling. No spinning fans means no distractions while you work or chill.
PRECISE FAN CONTROL
Traditional fan may have up to 10% difference on fan RPM from fan to fan at the same fan duty cycle. Now with the new fan controller on the SAPPHIRE NITRO+, this tolerance is reduced to 3.2%. This improvement on the accuracy ensures the cooling and noise performance of every card is up to the standard.
SAPPHIRE QUICK CONNECT
With NITRO+ models, SAPPHIRE has upped the stakes with its new Fan Check system. To resolve a specific fan issue, SAPPHIRE’s Quick Connect System provides a quick and easy solution. If there’s a fan issue detected, the user doesn’t need to return the entire card.
ROBUST VRM COOLING
On the cooling module, heatsink is stamped to the shape of the MOSFET with high thermal conductivity pad to take away the heat efficiently. On the backplate, same idea is also implemented around the back side of the MOSFET area.

Workhorse. I couldn’t be happier with a product like this from a company like sapphire.
reat single gpu and runs cooler than gtx 480 and somewhere around a 10-15% increase in performance. Also sucks a little less power than the 480. Overall great single card solution
Runs cool and quiet. Easily handles any game I am currently running.
Runs any game on maxed settings
Runs cool, if you use manual fan control
Quiet at stock fan speed and quiet enough when manually controlled to enjoy my games.
Fired up right out of the box and no errors after stress testing it. All the drivers played nice.
it’s not so expensive and I found myself thinking that I really need this and somehow I arrived at yes.
Installing was a breeze! No problems whats so ever with this card. Plays all the games I want on Ultra.
This is an awesome card, and highly recommended upgrade, especially if you have anything less than a 580
Honestly since i’ve gotten this card I’ve been downloading alot of demo’s for newer games just to see how good the games look. I’m pretty blown away at how the newer games look
Great card for the money.
Overall Review: This a nice budget card. Fans are noticeable but honestly not that noisy.
If you are on the fence and want amazing graphics performance on max settings, buy it. I’m glad I did and have no regrets.
Pros: Much faster than my old GPU, and it runs very quiet and cool under load. Have it running at the overclocked 1450 and everything is working perfect.
Cons: Nothing to note so far
Great GPU
Pros: Solid construction.
Works perfectly with Linux.
Gaming and other 3D programs run as expected.
Cons: Rather heavy. I put my case on its back to avoid GPU ‘sag’ and motherboard warping.
Excellent GPU!
Pros: I have had the Sapphire in use for little over a month with absolutely no issues. General video editing and playing.
Cons: I haven’t had any problems.
Overall Review: Good graphics card, I highly recommend it.
Pros: Its a very nice looking card, really quiet and great cooling, Really good mid tier gpu
Cons: None yet!
Arrived quickly. Very pleased
Mega fast. Nice job.
Good stuff.
Pros: Multiple HDMI and DP outputs, OC easy, stays cool.
Overall Review: Great GPU for budget builds. Fans are pretty quiet.
Great!
Overall Review: When deciding between the msi, xfx or this, get this, might be a little money buy it’s so worth it. Currently loving sapphire techs. Also it ran every game I threw at it with 60+ FPS easily at high graphics settings.
Gets the job done.
Cons: Not worth it
High temps
Inconsistent clocks
Overall Review: Artifacts, frame drop and many more problems, I’d say stay away there are better options for the price
Works pretty well.
Pros: Bought this for my 2009 Mac Pro and it works great. In dual booting into windows, I can now play PC (Xbox) games, which is nice. The card keeps steady Temps without any lagging or waiting for graphics to load. Of course graphics is much clearer overall compared to the OEM GPU.
Cons: This con goes to Mac Pro users. It’s not necessary, but flashing from 4,1 to 5,1 is recommended, as you’ll be able to support metal and upgrade to Mojave.
Overall Review: Overall the card is performing well so far with no issues.
Pros: Great Card , Super Quiet , Factory OC, performs like a champ. Extra set of Blue LED fans. Design of this card is amazing , love the Gun Metal Finish. Zero RPM Fan when not under a load. Great performance at a fair price.
Cons: No cons , the card performs like advertised.
Really good
Great clean run. Keep up the good work. Great customer service.
Sleek card that performs
Pros: Sleek looking and very nicely built and finished. The best 580 you can buy, hands down.
Cons: Price.
Overall Review: Four stars because it was a bit too much compared to other 8GB 580s and for not much more one could buy a cheap 1070 (next tier up, ~30% performance increase I understand)
Good quality. Highly recommend! Do not hesitate to buy.
Pros: delivery is good. product is good…
Cons: nothing…
Didn’t last a year
Pros: Good performance, price was acceptable
Cons: Didn’t last a full year. Purchased in February, dead by December. Not over-clocked, but died at stock settings.
Overall Review: Not a bad card, but I had bad luck with this one.
Great card
Pros: Looks really nice
Quiet fans, like that they don’t constantly run
Plays games on high/ultra with stable framerate
Overall Review: I would totally recommend this product to anyone.
Terrible coil whine
Pros: – card looks very nice (I wouldn’t buy this card if I wasn’t so vain)
– stays relatively cool under full load
– fans are relatively quiet
Cons: – terrible coil whine, even under 100 fps for some games
– one of the most expensive RX 580s
