Outshine the competition
ASUS Aura Sync RGB LED technology makes ROG Strix Z270G Gaming the control hub for your illumination ambitions — so it’s easy to synchronize incredible lighting effects between compatible components, including RGB LED strips, graphics cards, keyboards and even mice! Change all LEDs in unison or employ dynamic modes to flow the illumination effects smoothly across all synchronized devices.
AUDIO SupremeFX
ROG Strix’s SupremeFX audio technology has levelled up, delivering an exceptional 113dB signal-to-noise ratio on the line-in connection for best-ever recording quality — and 120dB on line-out for crystal-clear sound! We’ve also added a low-dropout regulator for cleaner power delivery to the SupremeFX S1220A codec, plus Texas Instruments® RC4580 and OPA1688 op-amps for high gain with low distortion. It all adds up to audio that envelops you as never before!
Third-generation ASUS T-Topology
With support for DDR4 memory, ROG Strix Z270G Gaming lets you drive memory frequencies to 4000MHz and beyond when overclocked! ASUS-exclusive T-Topology circuit design provides superb memory-overclocking capability to unleash the full power of DDR4 by minimizing coupling noise and signal reflection. With innovative equidistant memory channels, T-Topology delivers balanced control and powerful overclocking compatibility.

Fast and No Issues
Pros: Very fast, great SSD throughput. Windows 10 had builtin drivers for just about everything.
Cons: –
Pricey, but a great board
Pros: Looks great – attention to detail around the design and appearance of the board.
Lots of options – wireless AC, Intel RAID setups, USB, M.2 – you name it, this board has a lot of configurations and options to keep you entertained.
Overclocking – both EZ and advanced configurations available in the BIOS for those that love to dare and those that are looking for safety in adding a bit more punch.
Simply well built and reliable – ASUS is simply a great name in motherboards. You can’t go wrong with them in my opinion.
Cons: A bit costly. Don’t get me wrong, you get a lot for what you pay for, but you will pay for it. Nothing’s free here.
Needs at least another case fan header. Two case fan PWM headers is not enough for most people that intend on using this board for overclocking or cases that fully utilize the six SATA ports.
